Hardware design comes in three parts: Component identification, System Layout and Review. eMotion Controls finds that each step is crucial to successful implementation of a project.
Component Identification and System Layout
For a machine or system to function properly all sensors and actuators must be in place for proper placement, alignment and processing of parts. eMotion Engineers create machine and systems layouts to identify all critical components of the system. Included in system layouts are network connection diagrams along with interface specifications to ensure that all system components interact properly. These layouts are helpful in identifying and specifying the proper components for system functionality. eMotion has experience with many different types of components for different applications. For example, if your system needs drives or a servo system, eMotion has extensive experience with these brands:
| Allen Bradley |
Delta Tao |
Square D |
| ABB |
Kollmorgen |
SEW Euro Drive |
| Baldor |
Pacific Scientific |
|
| Danaher Motion Products |
Mitsubishi |

Review
Once component identification has occurred and system layouts are complete, eMotion Engineers review the design with their customers focusing on both function and safety. Evaluation at an early stage allows the installation to go smoothly and allows all parties involved to be aware of the complete concept and solution, helping to ensure that all components are installed as intended without any unnecessary rework, preventing installation delays.
